The Après Life

It's basic instinct that all riders and skiers possess. The party doesn't stop off the hill it goes straight to the après party! For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, “après” means “after”, so it's simply an after party or after time that you enjoy when you are done skiing. For most large resorts the hill is closed around 3 or 4pm. Dinner services don't start until 6 so your left with a bunch lag time in between. If you're wondering where everyone goes during these 3 glorious hours? It's the bars, the chalets the outdoor patios (if the weathers nice), soaking up the sun and enjoying some drinks and good times. Yeah it's a good life but you deserve it. Perseverance and determination at work and on the hill pays off and therefore the après life if for you!

Please tweet me?

Okay so twitter is getting a little out of hand. I admit I am a new tweeter. I had to ask what hash tag was and what all this @reply me nonsense was about too. But now...I think I am addicted and it's disgusting me. Did any of you twitter-ers catch that update that twitter hit over capacity for a few minutes? Wow, that's some crazy stuff!
Anyways! It's not the fact that twitter is just so much fun...okay well it is the fact that twitter is so much fun! I used to be sceptical about it and didn't really know what it was about until all my friends were asking me if I had twitter and well now look where I am! I wouldn't say my life has changed because of twitter but it certainly got a little more interesting.
It's defiantly a completely new form of communication. Twitter takes the online status updates that Facebook is capable of to a whole new level. It can connect you with a lot more people in the world than just your average 500 people on Facebook with out it being “creepy” because let’s be real no one has 2000 friends. I'm not trying to put a bad name on Facebook at all. Facebook gives me that homely feeling, connecting with people I know and talk to on a regular basis. Twitter is that out of world experience right from your wifi device. It’s awesome I can follow people like Rihanna on such a personal level.
Why is this so important to you Misschief chicks? Well not to be misschievous or anything but keep an eye out for a Misschief Snowboards twitter account, it might just blow your minds!

Make you own lipgloss!!

A Misschievious Adventure...

Spring break is coming closer and sometimes that hot, sandy beach isn't an option. If you're an Ottawa girl like myself you will probably be looking for all the popular urban spots to sesh, and hitting up the local hills with friends never get's old. For a good time on a budget, try Mont Cascades, it's only an hour outside downtown Ottawa and a park pass is 10 bucks! The Capital’s classic favourite locations are Camp Fortune, Edelweiss, Mount Pakenham, Calabogie Peaks and Mont Saint Marie. For the ultimate mini trip this spring break I highly recommend a visit to Mont Tremblant. It's like your living in a fairytale village there and you'll never want to leave! Don’t forget to check out all the resort websites by clicking on the links bellow!

Clean cuts on jackets and pants will last you a few seasons.

The Cherry on Top
