Devastating news on the slopes this week, pro
female freestyle skier Sarah Burke died in hospital Thursday due to a head
injury on a half pipe in Utah, Salt-lake City. Sarah was an inspiration to guy
and girl riders, skiers and every person with passion doing something they love.
With 3 X-Games gold’s under her belt, Sarah was on the right track to the
Olympics and representing Canada and sport she fought for to have a women's
category. Sarah will be missed by her husband and pro freestyle skier Rory
Bushfield, her family, friends and most of all of Canada and the around world.
Her talent and ambition will never be forgotten. R.I.P.
